Bringing imagination to real life
Animator, 3D modeler, and themed-experience storyteller — from age-twelve chalk murals to a master’s at UCF.
Education
Dani has always had a passion for storytelling and bringing her imagination to real life, inspiring her to pursue her BFA in Animation and 3D Modeling from the University of South Florida. Today, her passion continues to fuel her as she is currently earning her MS in Themed Experiences at the University of Central Florida.
Chalk art
She started her artistic career at the age of 12, traveling throughout Florida and competing in chalk mural competitions against professionally trained artists, where she won multiple awards and was welcomed as the VIP artist of the Gasparilla Music Festival sponsored by the TBBCA multiple times.
Little dog & toolkit
With her little 4-pound chihuahua by her side, Dani spends most of her days working on school or passion projects. She uses a multitude of programs, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, Adobe Illustrator, ZBrush, Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, Toon Boom Storyboard, and she is currently learning Revit. Dani is a determined artist who is always eager to learn and grow in any opportunity she finds herself in.
Teaching
She is also a natural-born leader, an excellent communicator, and a team player. During summer breaks, Dani lends herself to the Tampa Museum of Art, where she teaches animation and digital art to children. She has also taught at Ruth Eckerd Hall as an assistant art director/teacher during their summer program of 2024.
USF Ambassadors
As an undergrad, she was the Vice President of the USF Ambassadors — the most prestigious student organization at the university, who serve as the bridge between alumni, donors, and current-day students. Dani has represented her university, herself, and anything she does with pride and enthusiasm.
